A Room With A View...

Relatively OK here - rain, some sleet, but no snow as yet, though some promised for the weekend.

Lesley, how are you coping?

We've been lucky really @Rob MacKillop - considering we live near the bottom of a valley right next to a river. The chickens have two enormous runs, totally enclosed, so at least they can't blow away. The llamas and pig have water, hay racks and bins of alfalfa in their field shelter, along with lots of clean straw. The cats and ferrets live indoors. I have a wonderful boss who lets me work from home when things get difficult :)

No thanks, Glenn. We're having our own little cold snap over this side, too: we're down into the 70s today, and I hear it may get even colder over the next few days. (If it keeps going like this I might have to wear two T-shirts!)

How do you get all that water on the glass Glenn? ;)

Lovely execution

Thought I was looking out my window this morning, no different.
I was reading what is going on over there Julian. Scary stuff. This winter is one of the craziest I've lived here. Yesterday it was snowing at 2-3 inches an hour...rain...freezing rain...then wind and rain that woke us up last night. This morning the sun was out a few minutes ago...now it's snowing. o_O
Stay safe...

Yesterday here it was beautiful. Cornwall has no rail link at the moment and for a a few weeks yet. my daughter is having a weekend home from uni soon. It is either a bus trip or me picking her up which entails a 1200 mile round trip, there and back twice. :(
