A story of childhood, sentimentality, nostalgia and baking!

Quite a while ago the girls decided to make some cup cakes, something they can do unsupervised these days. I thought I would take a few photographs to document the process including the all important bowl licking! These were taken with a Olympus XA2 and XP2 developed in DDX.

Mixing action in #2 is a lovely touch - and that final image is priceless! :D

I was more of a mixer-beater licker myself - must be a Lincolnshire thing!

Hope it was turned off before you stuck your tongue in there Chris.

Nice set, Paul. I like #2 especially as well and also 4. I love the look of film, too. Great to see your using an XA. (I think my next one will be an XA2, or maybe an XA4 if I can find one at a reasonable price.)

I love these Paul!
I have a roll of 120 xp2 that has been hanging round for a long time ... doesn't make sense to send of black and white film when I can do it at home ...
what were your timings?

The chems seem to remain at a steady 16 deg C, I think I developed these for 16 minutes instead of 12 minutes @ 20 deg C. I need somewhere dust free though. No matter how much I clean and puff there still seems to be dust and hairs lurking.
