Critique Welcomed Angel of the North

We stopped off at the Angel of the North on our way to the Beamish museum this weekend. Interestingly the wings are angled forward to represent a "sense of embrace", but I found it quite ominous. Was a great view and luckily we got there early enough to avoid the crowds.

Thanks @Pete Askew, yeah the last one is probably my favourite! I'm really happy with how these have turned out, definitely think I'm improving!

Some good shots there Robbie. I stood beneath the angle not long after it's opening to the public. For some reason on other occasions driving past never had the desire to stop again. It does though have a presence, be it not my cup of tea, but you have captured many of those elements that the mind can associate with the Angle of the north. Apart from the Orange ;)

It's on of those things, I've been there once and that's it. We drove past and decided on a whim to go and have a look. Haha that's beauty of B&W, it's forgiving of the ugly orange!

I only live 20 miles from the Angel, have drove past it loads of times and still never been to see it properly:oops:.
