Another Hard Life Shot!

Slowly getting over the trauma of shooting a wedding (never again!) and getting back to my normal stuff.

Here's another ' Hard Life' shot, I think I figured out the reason I tend to shoot laying down, I never carry my tripod with me!

That's a very "Vic" photo! And that's no bad thing!
What's the structure in the background?

Do we get to see any of these wedding shots?

Great shot! yes, very 'Vic' lol
Oooohhh weddings!! let me see, let me see, let US see!! :) :) :)
I noticed you put 'never again'.... did it not go well?

Hmm interesting, just what is a 'Vic' photo and you sure that's not a bad thing? Maybe it is and possibly time to get myself a ladder (I won't use my real ladder though, I'll use my step ladder)

The structure is an old run down shed on the 'beach' at Dungeness.

and NO!, they caused me a lot of stress and they're shi...rubbish, nearly made me bin the camera (no kidding)

I truly hated the whole experience. I enjoy taking photos for my pleasure. I like street photography and the such and would be quite at home just loitering in the back ground at a wedding doing my thing, but as the official photographer ( the paid one let them down) I couldn't do that. I thought all the staged shots looked rubbish and I really went on a downer about the whole thing. Although the couple liked them, I didn't and that's the main thing!

Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the wedding photography gig Vic, hope you didn't stress to much over it. I think the hard life theme could make for an interesting project. I can see images of plants that look like they're clinging on to life in all sorts of adverse places.

I'm with Vic - one wedding shoot was enough - mine went well, but the stress of the 'importance of the day' ruined the fun for me :(

Very nice shot Vic - sort of a Bonsai effect if you catch my drift - I love the scale and the PP
