Another shot like the ones I hope to get on film

As soon as I get the light seals replaced in my new/old film cameras, I'm going to start shooting images like this one. I would love to get shots that are abstract enough to make the viewer work to identify what they are viewing. When shooting with the RB67, I am thinking of using my digital camera as a substitute for a Polaroid back. I'll fine tune the shot until I feel it is as good as I can get it and then I'll take the shot on 120 film. Would that be cheating?

Fine shot, whatever it is. Yes, it would be cheating. But that's ok. We'll still let you post here.

Oh, sorry. That's a glass pipe made by my grandson. I did some product shots for him and then I did a couple of more abstract shots for the fun of it.

Thank you, Ivar. Test shots today with the three 35mm. I've got two om-1s and an XA2 with new light seals in them. I'm going to try to test all three cameras using only one roll of film. These will be test shots of a printed sheet of paper and a color checker. This is only to test the meters and look for flaws that affect image quality, so I hate to pay for developing three rolls. I've got a changing bag if I need it. I don't think I will.

Thanks, Pete. I have some shots in mind already. I'm thinking of using some of Edward Weston's shots for inspiration. Not the nudes, more likely sea shells and vegetables.
