Critique Welcomed Apparently It Was A Day For Gates ...

Went back to the Maitland Art Center to explore some more and just about every shot I liked ended up being a gate of some sort or another - go figure. Fuji X-E2 and XF14mm.

Thanks, all. I was conflicted over how to best manage focus on the first one. The background in the distance is not in focus exactly, but if I had used hyper focal, the stonework at the edges of the frame in the foreground would not have been in focus. I fudged the background since it was in the distance and not quite as obvious. My usual procedure would have been to use HF - in hindsight, I think I probably should have stuck with that. Oh well, next time.

Nice shots of interesting subjects. I was in your state for the last week. Drove from Naples to St Augustine and felt like I was in Orlando forever. You have a very...very...flat state. :)

Should have dropped me a note and we could have met somewhere for lunch or a beer.

I really like that first one - it's like a gateway to a story - monotone on the outside, and technicolor on the inside

Thanks, Ivar
