Bench and railing

I can't wait until you get fed up with that good-for-nothing Hexar and pass it along to me free of charge. (I could pay the shipping charge I suppose.)

I like how that bench is framed in the light.
 
You wouldn't know from the images that they are next door to each other, so there is a relationship which could be brought out in another context. I'm not sure I see them as abstract. To me they are very complete meditations on Edinburgh New Town architecture: shadows, light, and mystery. I agree with you that the better shot is the bench, and those stairs do lift it.
