Birds' Nests and Eggs Exhibition

Just back from a really wonderful and inspiring film and installation on birds' nests and eggs, held at the gallery of Edinburgh's botanic gardens. Just phone shots, I'm afraid, from the Huawei P9.

My post above doesn't give any idea of how inspiring and uplifting it was. Susan and I came out energised. What an incredible world we live in.

As a boy, used to steal bird's eggs from nests. Sad. Then once, as a boy, in cavalier fashion, I fired a rock from a sling at a wee bird in a tree. Actually hit it. Down it fell from the limb it had been happily perched upon. I was mortified. Been scarred for life since then so I have.

Bonnie foties.

There's no way you're getting me into that giant, person eating nest!!!!

First of all, I would say that the concept is amazing! That giant nest is made so accurate, that at the first sight it looks like, it is prepared by a bird itself! Thank you so much, Rob, for sharing such a wonderful set of photos! :)
