As many will remember last year Boston was rocked by a bombing at the marathon. I documented it 48 hours later here... http://realphotographersforum.com/forum/threads/boston-48-hours-later.10922/#post-87148
This year the city...the country...and in fact the world is out to make it a bigger and better event just to say...we won't let cowards change who we are. There will be more than 36,000 runners and over a million spectators from all over the world here on Monday...Patriots Day.
We took a walk downtown yesterday...48 hours before the start...
They opened Boylston St...the finish line where one of the bombs went off just to the left of where I am standing. As you can see...blue and yellow are the colors.

There were 36,000 of these all around town...

A most striking sound is all of the languages/accents you hear...

The streets were overwhelmed...

This years banners flying over the medical tent in front of the library say it all.

Of course there are some just along for the ride...
