I'm not sure what's got into me tonight. I processed this some time ago but because we finished the animals late today, I only felt like tinkering. I have no idea why I headed off in this direction, but I think I wanted a sort of old time, Wild West feel. The contrast has been reduced a tad and the image has been toned in rather an unusual way. I would appreciate any thoughts...

Ah, thank you very much. I don't often head off in an artistic direction, so it's nice to have some input. I have a couple more that might suit this treatment. I feel a style coming on...

I agree, the bird really does add so much to the composition and it does have a wild west feel to it. And despite the full frame it has a sort of wilderness feel if you see what I mean. I like it a lot Lesley.

Thank you Pete. Brimham is a wonderful place - a sort of 50 acre park of rocks and it's safe too, with somewhere to park, toilets and decent paths. I think the rocks in the Peak District are going to need a bit more effort!

It's a location I've had on my list for some time but never got around to visiting!
