Cameratiks

..is the name of a very old camera shop in Edinburgh. Good repair section in the loft at the back, and a huge selection of film (and a few digital) cameras at the front. Always busy when I go in. I was there today to collect my Konica Hexar AF, which turns out to be in A1, tip-top condition, which is good news. The recent bout of oof shots were entirely my own fault, it seems. Must steady myself better!

I was just switching on the Leica Q, when this mad mother came flying by with her terrified kids. I'm surprised the camera caught it. You can see Cameratiks quite clearly in the background.

A good fotie in the "street" genre, Rob.

Now that you have the Q you'll be wanting to give away your Hexar. I'll take it. (I can cover the shipping charges.)

Despite Hamish's misgivings about the Hex, I'll be taking mine with me. Either Heaven or Hell should provide me with some good shooting opportunities. So, get your own! Alas, they are getting more and more expensive. I thought I had paid too much for mine, about £180, if I remember correctly.
