I spent the weekend at a car rally (not unusual!) but a slightly more elite event as it was the Rally of Canberra which is (this year) a round of the ARC - the Australian Rally Championship.
There was a little bit more paperwork than usual involved to get approved as event media, albeit rewarded by the loan of a key to the gates locked to the public.
Anyway, I took around 2000 photos - still haven't finished editing - but ended up feeling a little gloomy after comparing my stuff to the work of some of Australia's best motorsport photographers who were also there! Not helped I must admit by having apparently picked up a nasty cold as well...
Anyway, there are some I'm happy with, this being one I found rather humorous.
