Cheap Macro

I bought a really cheap macro adapter by Pixco for the not so cheap Leica M9 Monochrom, and it is fairly useless. When I look through the viewfinder to focus, nothing happens when I turn the lens barrel, and even when I step forwards or back the focus changes in the viewfinder, but bears no relation to what is actually photographed. So, it's pot luck, snapping away. I soon gave up. These are the best out of about twenty shots. Still fun, though, despite the chance factor, or maybe because of it.

They are fun pictures. The first could be a blurry view of a glass seen by a drinker who has filled and emptied it a number of times.

Yes, they really are not the tools for the job. Having said that though I really like that first one. I like the shadowy figure!
