Crane by river

I have recently been struggling to get the motivation to take my camera out. So last week, I decided I really should try.
Anywho, after walking around for two hours I managed only one decent shot.
Fairly mediocre shot to be fair, though it was nice to be thinking of image composition and...well...everything photographic really.
What do you think?

I like shots of industrial machinery Barry and I like the water in the foreground but it lacks drama. How about in B&W with fairly high contrast and some noise/grain. At least you've managed 1 more picture than me in the last week!! This weekend I will get going...

i have commented on this else where ... but i like it ... its like a vintage post card

the crane its self is a wonderful thing ... i think its my favourite land mark in Worcester someone told me its the oldest of its type in the uk ... but what that means i dont know ...

Capturing a crane in the wild takes skill and patience, they can easily be spooked by photographers, but are often found at the sides of rivers and lakes feeding.

Nice one Barry - love the vintage treatment.
