Don't know what grandfathered means...but they did say they were about to debit my account. No problem. I am not a fan of the new site, so will probably use 500px from now on.

Grandfathered is a bit of a strange phrase, but generally means you carry on as before. In this case, the same price etc.
I have to look more closely at my needs. It's nice to have the online storage space. As for the new look, generally I think it's fine, except for one thing: I don't like the photos being edge to edge. I think they are better when they have room around them. I don't yet know if there are options to alter this look.
