Geetar And Loot

Different processing here...
Fuji XE1, 18-55, yada yada...

This is a few weeks old, a raw file. Decided to open it in the Nik HDR filters, and had a play around. I'm not into heavily-processed HDR images, but I think there is potential if used in a subtle way. But here there was only one image to play with, not half a dozen at different exposure values.

Anyway, feel free to criticise the hell out of it :)

Aperture was f/2.8, so there should be some separation. Could this be a consequence of the process, I wonder?

Here's the original for comparison. I think the problem is already there...

The "loot" and the "gee tar" appear to be conjoined. I had to gaze at it a few moments to figure it out.

Well you have seen the rock gee tar with the two necks? This is Rob's version! I can just see him now banging out a few Fleetwood Mac songs with some 14th Century odes thrown in as interludes. He might even be wearing tights!

As long as you're not thinking of knocking out Fleetwood Mac songs :D

Having said that a neighbour knocks out a particular good version of Poor Boy/Oh Well (when relatively sober), and I'd Rather Go Blind, but then Christine McVie was in his 60's band on the last one :)

Interesting image but maybe you've chosen the wrong one to start with.

Yes, I think that is established - wrong image.

Peter Green was great. I teach some of my students to play "I Need Your Love So Bad".
