Took this and was not pleased, so dismissed it. Ended up seeing it again the next day and it looks better than I thought the first time round. I know it could be improved if I had the umph to do it.

It is almost there, personally I am not sure about the colour near the horizon but I am sure I like the way you used the clouds and the crop. I assume this took some heavy PP and the image quality has taken a small hit?

I know the feeling Julian. It's times like this when I love smart objects in PS. Even if you don't use them, I do hope you find a grain of umph somewhere because I would love to see this again

Julian...I actually like your shot right now...can't wait for your recovery though. "Umph-less" is a difficult affliction to overcome. I sometimes find a good single malt...a good book...and an afternoon nap helps.

Uhhh,...what is it about it that you don't like, Julian. I think its a fine image as is. Very dramatic, and I like the grassy horizon. Leave as is I say!

Love the texture in the sky and the overall look. However, I too find the purple tone at the horizon too strong. Is it worth reducing that a bit?
