Hands up then, who's got a X Series Fuji?

Which Fuji x series do you have?

Notice for Jim, we have an extra vote we shouldn't have for an x100, being as you have one and haven't voted it can be your vote, just drop a message in the thread if you se this

As I'm sure you know, I have an x100
I'm just intrigued to know just how many people have one and what they are?
And maybe we could go with why...
I bought the x100 as I wanted a high quality compact with a fast lens and good VF

I have X-10 because I wanted a good quality go anywhere compact that would give me some freedom from DSLR................it has ::D

I wanted a decent good quality smaller / compact camera that i could take out & about with me when photography was not exactly the main plan of action for the day, but i could easily carry a compact around just in case i spotted something or maybe something significant occurred while out shopping or back in Manchester visiting family & friends.

I initially wanted X100, but i didn't think i could cope without a zoom for convenience more than anything. I sold my nifty fifty for the canon as i didn't get on with it.

Just before xmas i never shut up about this X10, i held back hoping it would come down a little after xmas. Howevere i was lucky enough to be given one for xmas as a present from my Boss :)

I love the camera, it was a great choice whoever purchased it & now i find myself going out to take pics just with the Fuji.

I may at some point (very soon) look into buying a refurbed or 2nd hand x100 :-)

With regards to my 366 project many of the photos, probably 80% have been taken with the Fuji

I bought the X100 as a small go-anywhere camera - and to stop me wanting the X-Pro1

I bought the X-Pro1 because the X100 was so good, and because I have no self discipline what so ever! :D

Hamish - that Fuji klasse s looks strangely familiar??? ;)

Yes it does doesn't it ... Predates the xpro by a while - 2006, and it's predesesor the klasse which looks the same and is older still ... Bit of bloodline running through them for sure!

There is a company that exports them from Taipei called shueido camera on uk eBay Brian
They only have the klasse w for sale at the mo though ... The listing for the a ran out today ... I soooo nearly bought one!

If you need a US purchaser on one Hamish, you can always PayPal me the dosh and I can bid and ship to Blighty :)

Not that I'm trying to temp you or anything :D

They look soooooooooo nice! :)

Cheers Chris
I'll have a look on eBay.com see if it works out any cheaper
Thanks you for that!
They do don't they, te lens is supposed to be excellent too... My only issue is the apparent size, but at least there is no projecting lens!

Doesn't matter Tom, just a bit of fun...

Which one is tempting you Paul?
The idea of an xs1 appeals to me quite a lot I have to say!

What's wrong with the XS-1? So far no one has owned up to having one.

I wanted a camera that gave high-quality images with a minimum of bangs and whistles. The retro styling is nice too. I can see myself getting the pro version in a year or two, if I have the funds and my photography warrants it. Sometimes I wish I had a zoom, so either the X-Pro1 or the much cheaper XS-1. I use the X100 all the time now.
