Hi all
I joined this forum after reading Hamish' posts on a few Hifi forums of which I'm a fellow member.
I've lived in Cumbria for nearly thirty years and have always been astonished by the sheer beauty of the Lakes and Hills. My particular loves for both walking and taking photos are waterfalls/rivers etc and caves-and yes, I've fallen in a few trying to get that special snap
I have just bought a Canon EOS 400D with a Sigma 18-200mm zoom from a work colleague that I'm trying to learn how to use. This has superceded an Olympus C450 that I thought was excellent but I've always wanted to try a camera where I could swap lenses.
Learning curve starts here.
Very best wishes to you all
Ian
