I am the daughter of Earth and Water

Today was a cold but extremely clear day, and clouds at high altitudes of rare beauty. If it wasn't for work deadlines I would have taken a day off just to photograph the sky. So, only three photos here taken in a hurry on the way to work and on coffee break.

i feel for you. i always see the best atmospheric conditions while i'm on my way to work or on a camera while i'm at work. i get a day off every few weeks and the weather/sky suck. the sky looks pretty interesting, especially in the second photo.

#2 is crazy good. A funnel, a V created by nature and man ... like cupped hands holding the fragile and precious clouds from wanton disbursement. Nice Gianluca Drago.

#3's is interesting as well, the contrast of structural wood reaching up to the heavens in an attempt bring order and gravity to water vapor. A tree, solid and unwavering, jealous of the free spirit of clouds not understanding that free spirit of clouds is fleeting.
