Just small town girls..

Wow very nice set, i really like the first image with the Dandillion (i think). The reflection shots is also a great idea.

Liking the first two great DOF draws you into the subject nice Brodie :) I would probably crop out the top of the second one as I find the light coming through the trees a little distracting, but not all of it I'd leave a little in for interest value...

The first two monochrome shots are excellent Brodie. Nicely lit, very well composed and the PP is just right. The shot standing in the puddle is quite nice but the composition is nowhere near as strong as the others. Maybe you could have exploited the reflection a bit more. The last one has lost a bit too much definition for me. Maybe cropping it differently would help as I like the PP treatment you've used. Good to have a willing model - exploit her more! :)

Thanks heaps for the advice Pete, i'll have a fiddle with the last two tomorrow as right now, I should sleep! Appreciate it!! :)

Nice set Brodie. I really like the first one. Good comp! The second image is also quite good but I mght crop it to be somewhat tighter on your friend. The reflection in the eye is a good catch too!

Yep, The 2 B&W images are superb. TBH I think that the scenery is fairly drab colourwise, it is the texture it has that is the interesting thing about it. Therefore going B&W was the right way to go IMHO. Have you tried B&W and a crop on the third one Brodie?

Whoa!! what a great set there Brodie
Liking the first one very much..... very well done
Now....... How much did you pay Hayley to stand in that puddle again? :P lol

Cheers guys :)
Paul, just made some adjustments to #3.. what do you think? DSC00965 (2).jpg
haha Dan, didn'y have to pay her a cent. was going to ask her to roll around init.. didn't want to push though :p

Love that first one - and I'm a big fan of the last one with the extreme closeup

Hayley must be well chuffed with hem - has she seen them yet?

Hi Brodie, Looking good but thats not the same photo as No 3. I'm not really one to comment on composition often struggling to see the best crop in my own photos but you could try re adjusting so that shes a third of the way in from the right rather than central (rule of thirds).

I'll go with that Paul exactly what I was thinking, would give another dimension to the image by creating some space in it..:)

Just a suggestion on the cropping - not that I'm into 16:9 crops!

What do you think?

Nice shots with great lighting and compositions. I would consider a crop on the second one just to make it a stronger composition. The first one is a winner and I was thinking along the same lines as Chris. great shots

Some very nice shots indeed, and some excellent advice from the guys here as well - an example of how much you can learn on this site. And of course everyone else learns from the advice too, I certainly do.
