lol, that was my thought too, the way those petals curve instead of going straight out..

That is a great photo Chris!! I saw some of those blooming on the nature trails this Sunday. I took a few photos. Mine paled in comparison. Great composition. What F stop did you use?

Thanks Steve - this one was at f/2.8, although on review I think f/4 might have been a better choice to get more of the stem in focus

While I certainly don't want to speak for Brian, if I had known that this photo was due to sheer wanton and callous dereliction of your lawn work duties, I certainly would have been less effusive in my praise.
