The man in the hat
Since there seems to be a theme on RPF to show case our (arguably) unhealthy adoration of X100, here is one more.

Priya took the shot, plus my PP (perspective corrections, cropping, levelling...etc).

I like this it is a modern twist on a fairly classic subject. Was the exposure straight from the Fuji's metering or was a bit of negative compensation dialed in? Most cameras would overexpose the light bulb but this is just right.

The exposure from x100 is spot on for this shot. No exposure compensation was set and I only added +0.2 in exposure during pp for my personal taste.

Its a nice composition and I am impressed that the colors inside are so nice while the outside isn't blown out. Very nice.

Thanks everyone.

I am glad that we were able to produce this somewhat interesting shot from an usual everyday scene.

First thing that caught my eye was how nice the interior part of the shot looks. Good comp, colors and lighting. But then I notice how the outside part of the scene is not completely blown out. It looks quite natural, brighter than the interior, but that the way it would be I think. I like how those two elements play on each other in the photo.

Loving the soft tones on the indoor section - lovely moment captured

Did the couple even notice the shot being taken?

Covert mode - nice! :)
