Long Beach at Night

Another with the Cheap-As-Chips Cam taken from the bluffs on Ocean Avenue. To the left in the distance, with the draped lights,...that's the Queen Mary.

(I'm becoming annoyed with the reflected light artifacts; I'll have too try some long exposures without the filter which I keep on there to protect the lens.)

Very nice again Brian. I like these night shots very much. I do like the way all of the vertical reflections key into the palms here. Again there are highlights in the sky (which I like by the way) but maybe my previous comment was wrong and these are the result of internal reflections in the lens / filter. What are the line of 'lights' on the beach?

Pete,...thanks very much. I think the lights along the sand might have been a cyclist or maybe two. (There a tarmac path there that you can ride on.)

Hamish thanks. And yeah,...I'm guessing it's the filter. The camera has no lens cap and I found a UV filter that fit it just for protection.
