But not endurance race cars this time.

I thought I'd posted this earlier but maybe not. I brought my camera to my daughter's school picnic and got a few shots of her playing around with a friend (that's her in front).

Camera Canon EOS 5D Mark II
Exposure 0.05 sec (1/20)
Aperture f/20.0
Focal Length 185 mm
ISO Speed 100

Great picture, Darren. I love how the ropes are captured in the image, as well as the grace and athleticism of the kids.

Ah wow! Great pan there dude. Nice focusing :)

Ha... thats not what i was expecting to see at all ...
I cant wait for Connie to be running around the place ... I guess i shouldnt wish her life away though eh :)

Cool, great capture!

I find panning peope running is much much harder than panning cars/skateboards/bikes, because they are more likely to move at a non-constant speed. Also, the slower movement speed encourges you to use a slower shutter speed, hence much lower success rate...

Very nice - lovely feeling of movement

I think the key thing here is that you should have a go and take the chance - if it works, it's a winner

If it doesn't - then no-one will even know ;)
