I'm off to Silverstone on Sunday to watch the GP .............. So I'll bring back a couple of piccies.

Really looking forward to this one........... and with luck it'll be a "Wet Race"

It'll be my first time there since they revamped it........ I hope they haven't spoiled it.

I used to go a lot when I was younger ......... and Silverstone was always a great circuit to ride on.

Well that was rubbish.............

The race was good especially our boy Mr Crutchlow ............ "Binned it" in free practice Friday morning and broke a bone in his ankle.............. Can't ride for qualifying yesterday ........... Starts at the back of the grid today .......... and "Stormed It" to Sixth Place

...........But my photography was absolute rubbish .............





.......... A very "Grumpy" Eastern European type security person on Guard at StalagLuft 10 (Grandstand Ticket Duty)......

Pete - it's incredibly difficult at most circuits to get any where near enough, without a press pass.

A few of the smaller circuits like Croft, Knockhill etc, have good spectator access and low safety fencing - but most of the others keep you miles away behind the barbed wire!

You used to be able to stand infield at Brands Hatch and shoot inside the hairpin - but even that was shooting into the sun, so could be pants if the weather was bright.

Not sure if that location is still available, as the last time I looked, he bridge to that area had been knocked down
