My New Photography Website

One of my photography new year resolutions was to start a project.

I hadn't updated my photography website for years, so figured I'd do a complete re-work, and put some time in over the next few months to build it out.

Under construction of course, but here's the initial outline http://www.dodkin.com

One of the biggest challenges is deciding which images to include, how many, and how to categorize the portfolios.

It's going to take some time as well, going back through my archive DVDs of images and selecting ones for the site.

Comments and thoughts welcome.

Looks like its coming along nicely mate!
seems a little slow to load ... but that could be my connection here...
any one else have that problem?

Looking good Chris. I like the texture in the background and the overall style. I do think the white borders are a bit heavy though.

Hamish - I'm thinking I need to swap hosts as it seems a little slower than I'd like - having said that, it's not yet cached anywhere, so that could be a cause as well.

Pete - I've been playing with the borders - think I'll either go minimal thin border or no border on the next upload - thx for the feedback.

Are the fonts etc all looking ok on PCs and different browsers?

Unsuprisingly it looks good on the iPhone (being a mac site)

Looks pretty much the same on both my PC's and Macs using Firefox.
