New Book: Photographer's Guide To Scotland

I think I read that guide. It was pretty short.

"Fly into Edinburgh airport. Transfer to regional carrier. Fly to Ireland. Take camera out of bag and start shooting. The End."

Some will. Anyone with any individuality could look at the same landscapes and photograph something unique.
Yes I am aware of that, but I still say this is not to help photographers to get great pictures of places in Scotland, rather than a silly attempt of making money on something they hope people shall buy. :D I'm out of here:eek:

I'm sure you are right about the attempt to make money. It could also be a matter of someone's desire to see their name in print. Regardless of the author's motives, let me ask you a question. Would you go to Yosemite National Park and not take a photo of Half Dome? And wouldn't you appreciate a guide that pointed you to some of the less known scenes in the park, so you weren't following in the footsteps of thousands of other photographers?
