Image quality looks ok - a step-up from a cellphone camera, but it's not going to match the cameras higher up the Canon range
Let's face it, people buying this camera are after something that will fit in a top pocket or purse, and hence will be with them at every possible moment for that FaceBook shot.
At 0.87" thick - it's definitely slim - but is it really better than say your iPhone4?
To be fair - the 8x zoom is going to allow it to outperform a cellphone, but at a price.
