New Toys

I have seen a few home brew conversions online to 120 film - might be worth a play

I think it would be a lot of work. And since the J66 is nothing special, to my knowledge, regarding lens quality or other features, I'd have to have a lot of time on my hands to want to do this.

(You know I have a thing--I suppose its a fetish--for small 35mm cameras. The Retina fits right into that niche.:))

A personality flaw I feel we share ;)

Very cool stuff, Pete!

I've wondered if there is a market for new film emulsions. (I think there is.) With all the emulsions that have gone away in recent years, film shooters are hungry for new product. Is it feasible for a low-key, low cost start-up business? (IP did it,...though the term "low cost" is relative.)

It does seem with the big boys pulling out that there is a market ... Ferrania are coming back http://www.filmferrania.it/
other companies are starting to get inventive http://www.cinestillfilm.com/

Its exciting times for film I think ... !

Be careful, its addictive.
