Dan Down - The Steampunk Womble
A couple of years ago Mr Askew had kindly donated boxes and boxes full of fantastic old photography magazines in which I've thoroughly enjoyed reading.
Quite frequently, I'd grab a mag and have a potter through which wouldn't take me long, The best ones I keep.
Amongst the 500+ magazines was this white bubble lined envelope, now with this in mind, I remember Pete telling me that there was a couple of mags for Hamish and Tom that they'd be interested in.... That, didn't cross my mind as I didn't specifically look for them, I'd plan to stumble across them.
So, my last box is finally coming to an end and here was this white envelope... With Nikon Pro mags (7 of them) and a label surely saying from Pete saying 'Dan, Hamish and Tom might be interested in these too'
For a bit of a laugh, I scribbled out their names and altered it for me!
Point being is, how ironic and surprising life can be.
I've just got a Nikon, and only now I stumble across these mags..... Like they were meant for me!!
