Wow - the ocean and the sky are exploding out of the frame - wonderful feeling of dynamics

I've never used IR film, although I have used IR72 filters on digital cameras

How does using IR film differ to using standard B&W?

Thank you, Chris.. This particular film was the best available and discontinued in November 2012. I stocked some 4x5s. There's plenty of opinions on how to meter for this film. I do not use light meter. By testing, I found f22 or f16 with with 1sec or 1/2 sec. reliable numbers between noon and 3 p.m. in California on a sunny day, and depart from that for partly cloudy images. Some factoring is also necessary for the seasons.

If you hadn't mentioned it Nihat I would have not thought IR unless I had squinted to see the hills on the horizon. Its a lovely picture although it seems to have a dark area on the left. What is that do you think?

Excellent composition that creates drama. Nice work!

Thank you, Pete. It was a grand day.. :)

Thank you, Brian. In the middle left, there is a rock formation. Towards its right, another long rock formation. I do not dodge or burn IR images purposefully. It's all about what we cannot see.

Thank you, Glenn. Really appreciate it. Boston would be a gold mine for this kind of work.

Thank you, Rob. Really appreciate it. Some days are amazingly productive. :)
