Critique Welcomed Probably Just Another Sunset

As the title suggests, probably just adding to a whole host of other sunset shots but I thought this was quite a nice one as the sun is neatly hidden behind a cloud giving out a warm glow and huge contrast.

Thank you! I did consider revealing the darker parts however I also liked the silhouette. I might revisit this shot and see what I can do.

I agree with Milan and I also like the silhouette. But a little more out of the shadow areas, especially along the horizon level where there seems to be some buildings and trees, would improve the overall.

I'll have a look and see if there is any detail in the RAW. Because of the brightness of the sun I don't think there is much detail to salvage sadly.

Lovely yellow colours, and timing!

A vertical or even square crop might work, as the sides of the photo don't contain much detail and this might bring out more of the interesting part. It might not work though.

I'm quite a fan of square crops these days (like the one of the cottage in my Broadway post).
