Walking through the streets of Florence, last fall. As I am not very fond of the tourist-laden lanes of big cities, most of the time I choose to wander the more quiet parts of the places I visit. I happened onto this small corner shop / eatery, with locals gathering around for a meal or a glass of wine, some of them probably even neighbours, the feel of being home, the coziness of the place...It made me feel like I stumbled upon an extended family at dinner or such.
