Thank you, Hamish. I have some cash, too. I was thinking of picking up a small, quality digi cam such as the Lumix GF1 or the Sigma DP1 or the Lumix LX7 or something like that (for the use of SWMBO, of course) but this morning I looked again at a fotie of Sadie that I took with a friend's Rolleiflex TLR and now I am thinking SWMBO might be better off with a quality used medium format film camera such as a Rollei or a Mamiya C330. In a quandary now!

Santa came through with a 24-105 L Coffee Mug, and the Magnum Contact Sheets book

So I can sup on some hot java whilst going through Magnum's amazing back catalog of defining images.

The Magnum book is well worth a look if you have't seen it before - you get to see the shot that became famous when it was published, and the contact sheet that shows the shots before and after - giving a great insight into the photographers thought process.

My girlfriend bought me a mint Agfa Isola which oddly is in an Isola I case but its the original Isola as it doesn't say 'Isola I' on the lens, it still means I have a camera to shoot with for the vintage 50s compact camera competition settings are F11...orrr F6.3 lol with the shutter speeds of B, 30 and 100 lol its pretty cool as it has a collapsible lens but its still an MF camera - and it shoots a square 6x6 which will make Pete happy

My parents also bought me a vintage light meter I got a fair bit of cash as well and with my birthday coming up on the 7th Jan I will get more cash then which will mean I can then afford the V500 scanner

Oh and I got some other non photographic things ^_^
