Street - Don't Look Down

Lesley Jones

Otherwise know as Zooey
Back in Scotland again only this time my long suffering husband got rid of me for a day by buying me a ticket to see Andrea Boccelli in Glasgow. I hung around the next day to take a few photographs and found these lads in a wonderful building called the Lighthouse. I can only assume they had bunked off school.

They were already at the top of this spiral staircase when I arrived and enquired after my health as I struggled up the last step. Then one of them had the idea to see what it looked like if one had fallen down the middle. They must have been aware of me leaning over and frantically taking photographs, but they didn't seem to mind.

Great shot Lesley lovely tones

I saw this on your site... Wonderful picture Lesley!
A lovely tale of I suppose a passive interaction between subject and photographer too... Talk about right place right time! Really great work!

Again, great use of location and people - very nice

Lesley ...I published this to the home page of the site a few days ago ...Not sure if you noticed? or if you mind ... I didnt think to ask ...If it is ok... I have a small favour to ask...Would it be at all possible to change the file name to have no spaces or capital letters ... i have a feeling this may be preventing it from rendering on the home page like the other images do ...let me know if it is ok to keep it there ... Cheers

Sorry Hamish - I hadn't noticed, but it was very kind of you. I don't mind. I'm actually about to remove all sales from my web site, so I'm not fussed about publicity, but if people want to look, then I'm happy. I'll send myself an e-mail to change the file name tonight. It's the only way I can guarantee things don't get forgotten. By the time I get the zoo done, it should be finished around 8.00 (ish).

Wow! That's made my day :)

Actually... I think I know what the problem is now. It's the apostrophe. It went to Kai Sander years ago for a fibre based print and he couldn't open it either. I'll try that first and give me a shout if it still doesn't work...

Apologies for the delay. Up at 5.20 this morning (as usual). Three hours to do the animals and then I had to drive myself to work - they sent my husband to another site today. I got home at 6.00 and another 2.5 hours to do the zoo again. I'm shattered!

The link has had the apostrophe and spaces removed :)

Great capture Leslie............ Love it.

Pete
