i dont normally do titles for any shots i post, i think it influences the viewer too much, i prefer to say nothing and let the viewer make up their own mind without a title giving them any clues or guidance.

love it - I love 'seeing' a shot, then just waiting for the cherry on top to walk into frame - very satisfying

I do like titles, as it can then play off the image in a specific way - i.e. I'm a control freak :D

Not to say that I always come up with anything worth mentioning though

dont you think you can guide someones reaction and what they see in a image by using clever titles.
if the shot has no clues other than the actual image, doesnt that make people try and find the idea/story behind said image, rather than the image maker tell them or lead them.
also do you not think a image may get a fairer appraisal if the viewer starts with a blank sheet, well not literally, but you know what i mean.

I think it depend on your intention

If your intention is to give it to them unbiased, then I agree, no title

If you want to lead them somewhere and then show the the rest of the picture, then I like using the title for that
