I ought to say from the start that I protest. Or at least I used to. Anti vivisection, anti war and I even flew up to Edinburgh for the day for the anti poverty march. If I didn't do this, then I wouldn't stand on the sidelines and photograph the participants. It wouldn't seem right somehow. So this isn't a comment on anything in particular, just me taking the camera along and doing what I can with placard firmly in hand...

Nothing wrong with peaceful protest. Went on a huge CND protest march in London in the 1970s. But did we change anything? I don't think so...
