Well, it's a street....

DP3M, b&w in-camera. Straight transfer to TIFF then jpg. I didn't feel it needed anything. Today was very warm and sunny, like a return to summer after recent storms. I went out about 4.30pm, and there were great shadows. I needed to put the EV to -3 to cope with the bright sky.

There's not much happening here, but I quite like the shot...

I also like this Rob, an ordinary location made good. The composition is strong.
Hot again here also, I can tell when the electric shower from the cold mains is too hot and needs turning right down . It is my barometer. Looks a gorgeous day from the photo.

It's amazing how a casual shot like this can evoke a flood of memories and thoughts in some and others may not give it the time of day.
The cooling atmosphere of a shady street in the light of a summers day in a quiet suburb is familiar to all of us yet we all have our own distinct memories of those places.
How enjoyable it is to be reminded of those times.
Or does that just happen to old people?

Very 40s feel without the cars Rob - love it
