Nice, Rense! My small arsenal of Soviet cameras includes a FED 3, a FED 5, a Zorki C, Kiev 4A and a Zenit 12xp--a FED 2 may be next.

Very nice Rense. But I think you've got the lyrics wrong. It was "...new Fed 2's" I think you'll find!!

Elvis was a well off guy. I'm guessing the lyrics really were "...two FED 2s..."

You're probably right there Brian. The camera was released in 1955 and by then Elvis had made some money from his first single so he could probably have afforded 2 by 1956 when he covered the song!!
