I thought similarly for a time, and would say if you can try a friends out first to see how you like it- just keep away from trees and objects to begin

They’re not for me, but they can make some great footage

Thanks Gianluca, the close up shots are a neat trick to make the most from low res sensors I’ve found.

sweet! the mavic my choice as a photo drone, but i had the fun opportunity to fly a mini into a stairwell a dozen times at work.

except maybe having your head stuck in a pair of fpv goggles as you watch the ground hurtling at you at 60 mph and hoping you've timed the dive just right.

Okay that’s definitely a way I’ve not experienced drones yet and does sound fun Beth- do you do racing for another hobby?
