The Fuji X-Series Loves Women

Chris Dodkin

West Coast Correspondent
I've done a bit of a write-up on the last 4 months of shooting portraits with the X-T1 and the Fuji X-Series lenses.

I've tried to cover the changes the technology has brought to my shooting style and workflow, and illustrate that with lots of lovely images.

Nothing that isn't tasteful - although some IT police may feel certain images would be NSFW.

So check the link from home or phone first!

:D

Superb write-up Chris and a very compelling case. And gorgeous illustrations to boot.
Ta muchly Pete - I've been a busy boy behind the scenes, so wanted to get some of the work from the last 4 months into the public domain.

You know what Chris. I was sooo disgusted with the filthy images that I sat down and looked at each one of them in detail as if I had no choice to look at something else. Now I feel compelled to complain and tell you how violated I feel right now.:D

Very nice, some real quality photographs. As I said before, very polished.

Don't get me wrong Chris, but Fuji should be proud of you. It is admirable what you've done, both revealing what you've used and to a certain extent how you felt. I haven't come as far as XT1, don't know if I need to with my two X-E1's, but a 56 would be a wish I guess or a 60 as I move a little slower these days. Very inspirering even for an older man who do not do this sort of thing anymore. I wonder why I drool.

Ivar - the 56mm lens was the turning point for the portrait work - I could probably have shot everything on the X-Pro1 if I'd had the 56mm lens last year.

It's a class piece of glass :)

Well!
Is this what I'm in for?
Now where did I put my Fuji X-T1?
And my defibrillator.

There's a guarantee of fine totty on page 219 of the manual Tom - in very small print ;)
