The Last of Kilve

I like Somerset. The trip could have been a tad less stressful. I didn't leave until nearly midday from the border with Kent and I arrived just before 5.00 and as it started raining again. I got soaked on and off on the beach until it got dark and by the time I got back to the B&B, everyone else was in bed. Up and out before anyone was awake to spend a couple of hours at Berrow with the old wreck. I got home mid afternoon and had to collect one of our cats from the local vet and rush her all the way to her neurosurgeon in Newmarket - another 200 mile round trip. It was supposed to have been a relaxing break...

But despite all that you still managed to capture a pair of super images.

Cheers Pete! I'm packing my wellingtons again for Derbyshire :D

Love both of them Lesley

The cloud and sunbeams in #1 are wonderful

And the sunburst hotting the bench in #2 is just magic

Another two wonderful shots Lesley. You know you can always crawl along the beach with your gear in a back pack. Couple of knee pads and some gardening gloves, sorted and very difficult to fall if you're on the ground already. You'll look a wally mind you..................

Hi Lesley,

Somehow I missed these. Beautiful work.
I do enjoy your write ups too.
They have calm and descriptive element in them.
