Is that not a bit of sunset glow on the columns. Nice pic Pete, not having eaten for 24 hours, a sea food meal sounds as good as it gets.

In fact the clouds add to the perspective of the temple

The temple is oriented East - West and the sun was supposed to sink into the sea in a blaze of glory just to the left of the island. Instead, it vanished into the cloud on the horizon with just the faintest of glows. But, I was happy with the shot anyway. The sky was also pretty nice a few minutes before though.

If you had watched a particular episode of QI, you would know that the sun is not really there...
