I agree Tom love her expression great capture Chris

Really likely pp.. Is this a built in preset is it?
Unusual, but effective compo, not sure I would gave done the same really, but I think it works ...
I liked the shot in the snap of the day thread!!

Hamish - no preset specifically, used the cloudy WB setting in the RAW tool, then desaturated the image compared to my usual settings. Used fill light to even out he shadows.

Then tweaked the clarity down a little.

Excellent shot Chris!! Love the PP! I had my 2 year old and my camera glued to my eyes whilst she looked around the garden for her easter eggs tryiing to look for a winner shot!! but this is the best I could come up with..... children.... so unpredictable! lol

Wasnt going to stick them on but you've encouraged me with your amazing shot!!...... hope you don't mind :)

Very cute! :) :)

I find that really mobile kids are best shot by holding the camera down at knee level, with AI Servo focus on, and the motor-drive function on.

You just follow them around pointing the camera in their general direction and keep shooting! LOL

works every time ;)

Good advice chris, makes sense as well!! I do like to see what I'm shooting, so by the time a get on the floor, lie down and look through the view finder, she's across the other end of the garden! Point and shoot at knee height??? Good plan!!

Because she was all over the place, I stuck my 70-300mm on, and just let her get on with it. Didn't quite work with my standard lens on. But now with that advice..... Can't see any reason why not.

Thanks again chris :)
