These are the three shots I have decided to put into a local photographic competition the prizes are a personal exhibition at the Burslem school of arts and a shared exhibition for second and third

I agree with Pete although I really like that first one because the colors are so warm (I think I commented before that it has a Kodachrome look about it.) And the reflection is delightful.

Hey, don't discount the train shot! - I'm quite partial to train shots, and this has a lovely vintage feel, and a nice comp with the lines of the tracks.

I posted the train one to somewhere else once and got asked where I found a picture of the german army in Britain lol it was only taken this year

I'm like Chris in that I'm somewhat partial to train shots. I really like the feeling you captured in that photo. I might suggest taking a look at the image straightened some and compare that image with the one you have here. In either case it's the train and rails for my fav.

If you straighten the train the other line isnt level and the building behind starts to tilt unfortunatly the line is banked as the station was never on the line here it was 500 yards down the line

The train one is great! Could you give me a hint on the steps required to achieve that effect?

Hang out of the train window going the other way! to get the sepia effect just preset in lightroom then hit auto to stop it being over bright for some reason when you hit the presets in LR it overbrightens the shots so you have to bring it back down by auto button
