SWMBO bought me a great Christmas gift of a photo Safari at the San Diego Wild Animal Park - and today was the big day.
We packed our cameras, and headed out to 'Africa' - just east of Escondido CA...
Took the first tour of the day, so there were only two other couples on our truck, and the temperature was cool enough to keep the animals lively (mostly)
Took the 28-70 for the close encounters, and the 300 f2.8 for the long stuff

Chuck, the male Rhino, was sleepy
Chuck wasn't too keen on having us drive through his territory - he was guarding the road! (And later pushed our truck around when he got testy)
