what I would like to hear, is your opinion on whether the vehicle, or the architectural lines, should form the point of reference in terms of the horizontal or vertical. I'm a big believer in having something 'square', unless it is completely wonky. not much of a tilter, me.

if that makes sense?

Hi Pete

If you can, I would straighten the converging vertical on the right hand side and then let the image decided the rest. In my opinion which ever feels the stronger to the viewer which of course could vary from person to person. Nice image by the way

I suppose as always, it depends if the car or the building is considered the point about which everything else revolves. I had first seen the huge black tiled wall, that seemed to suck light in, and then noticed that someone had besmirched it with an elderly landcruiser. which then became more appealing.

as a point of interest, this is an unattended automated parking place. you back into the space, then about a minute after passing over a pressure plate, a large metal block springs up and stops an inch below the sill. treadplate block just visible under the back. simply pay the meter for your elapsed time, and the block sinks into the ground. very common in Japan.
