vacation storms

glacier national park was closed for the season by the time we got near it. it was on fire on one end and snowed under on the other end. so we headed one state south to our other destinations. we decided to spend a day in yellowstone national park, it's not our favorite park ever, but we had some time to kill. it was foggy and snowy that day. and it was foggy in the tetons, snowed in the higher elevations, but not much in the valley. then went south to colorado to another park and the storm clouds were there too. we couldn't go more than a few miles into rocky mountain national park because they closed the road due to lowe visibility, snow and ice.

Beautiful Beth, I love a bit of mist or low cloud. The fist has a semblance of the road approaching Glencoe from the west. Thats nearer to Rob than myself in Scotland. A beautiful set of images.

Does bad weather follow you around Beth?

it feels that way sometimes. i usually don't mind stormy weather for photos, but i want to be able to see the mountains. it cleared up in the afternoon so it wasn't all bad. montana is one of the rainiest states too, so it's to be expected.

thanks @Ivar D. Larsen. but you've got quite a magnificent view in your own backyard, we might have some similar views to yours but you have to drive forever to get from one to the other.
