Were you lot naughty or nice? ;-)

lots of alcohol.. moonshine, hard cider (not sure which yet) and tito's vodka, from a friend, my brother and parents respectively. the boyfriend won't tell me what he got me, but i don't think it's alcohol.. i supplemented a little bit too, ordered the 23mm paperweight along with the 10-24mm pre-order.
A dry household then! :D :D :D

We are going on holiday in Florida in a few weeks... So we got Tickets to the American Ice Skating Championships here in Boston...remember I'm married to a Canadian ;). Even though "we" decided not to buy other gifts I was very surprised by a Wii U.:D

And you @Chris Dodkin?

Just got up here, presents are still under the tree, but Santa did give me a sneak peek earlier this week

A (pre-loved) Fuji G617 Panoramic camera!

May the wideness commence :D

Merry Christmas everyone :)

The Art of Photographing Nature by Art Wolfe, TriggerTrap dongle & cables for all my cameras (Oly, Nikon & Fuji), a couple 32GB Sandisk SD cards (you never have enough), Several Life is Good T-shirts (my retirement uniform) and one from a local pet emporium with "What Part of Woof Don't You Understand?" on it, the latest Mark Knopfler CD (Privateering) and metric/SAE nut drivers that I have to figure out how to cram into my huge roll around tool cabinet (I used to build & race Formula Fords as well as TZ250 bikes and I'm a tool junkie).

My wife went over to her mother's to have Christmas day with her nieces & nephews and their horde of screaming kids (we opened presents Christmas eve with my parents). I'm relaxing listening to Mark Knopfler and getting ready to read a bit in the Art Wolfe book after breakfast of scrambled eggs & cheese with chipotle Tabasco. All the cats and the dog are sprawled out asleep on the floor except for Wally who is on the dining room window seat watching Cat TV (bird feeder in the front years).

Yeah that 23 is real crap  That's why it's on my X-E2 all the time. Merry Christmas and enjoy the booze!

The moonshine brings back memories - I went to college with a guy whose family were moonshiners (SW Va - moonshine capital of the US at one time) and I used to occasionally assist in the family business :D. I have a T-shirt with "Moonshine - If It Didn't Taste So Good They Wouldn't Chase Us".

OK I'm old, what does a Wii U do, or is that like a mini me? :D

Well, apart from "The Best of PG Woodhouse" and "The Lives of Lee Miller", I got the wonderful wide-angle version of the Fuji Instax camera - bliss! A perfect start to the day :)
Go Instax! Did you get film with it?

I got a bottle of Auchentochen, some "lounging trousers" and a book about Deiter Rams
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/0714849189
So this evening I'm gonna sit in my lounging trousers drinking my whisky and reading my book :)

Merry Christmas everyone! :)
Lounging trousers? I think we need a photo Hamish - sounds very gentlemen's club :)

They do a Dr Who Monopoly? How cool is that - what are the pieces that you move around? Tardis and Sonic Screwdriver? :D

Sounds like you're well set Keith - that peace and quiet is priceless!

I got four films, all colour (do they do black and white?) with ten shots in each. It has a close-up add on lens. The first thing that strikes you is how big it is - very!

Don't think they do B&W Rob - you'll have to do that with old Nik later.
So how big is it then?
